Israel’s Elbit signs $80 mn contract with Boeing

Elbit Systems-Cyclone, a subsidiary of Israeli weapons maker Elbit Systems, has signed an $80 million contract with US aviation giant Boeing, a statement from Elbit read.

Cyclone will be supplying “structural components” to Boeing over the course of seven years, the Wednesday statement said.

“This contract represents another step in positioning Cyclone as a major supplier to leading aerospace companies and other customers,” joint general manager of Elbit Systems Aerospace Division Yoram Shmuely said.

Elbit Systems is listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Nasdaq in New York.
