WATCH: Is she the Middle East’s best drummer?

Sarit Hadad plays the darbuka drum like no one else. Doesn't get more elegant than this on a darbuka.

An Israeli singer with several hits on the top of the charts, Hadad is also recognized as a talented instrumentalist, playing the piano, organ, guitar, accordian, and – of course – the darbuka. Her parents are of Tunisian descent and she regularly performs Mizrahi music, a genre in Israel that combines elements of European, North African and Arab tunes. Mizrahi means Eastern in Hebrew.

But enough context, now enjoy the epic clip above with the one-and-only Sarit Hadad.
