Linde to invest $380 million in Saudi chemicals complex

German industrial gas giant Linde said Monday it has signed a contract to supply gases to Sadara Chemical in Saudia Arabia and will invest $380 million (284 million euros) in the project.

Linde said in a statement it will supply carbon monoxide and ammonia at a chemical complex currently being built in Jubail by Sadara, a joint venture between Dow Chemical and Saudi Aramco.

Linde said it will build on-site production facilities there which will be ready by 2015.
