British Prime Minister David Cameron will speak before Israel’s parliament next week during a visit planned for last month but postponed due to floods in England, the parliament said.
“British Prime Minister David Cameron is scheduled to address the Knesset plenum next Wednesday, March 12,” it said in a statement, without giving further details of the trip.
The British government has yet to confirm the visit.
Cameron had been scheduled to visit Israel and the Palestinian territories on February 18 and 19 but stayed at home to deal with the devastating floods.
It will be Cameron’s first visit to Israel since he was elected in 2010, although the Conservative leader did visit while he was in opposition.
